JOIN US EVERY THURSDAY, 4-6pm, CITY PARK
Corner of First and Military Streets, Benicia, California

The Benicia Vigil for Peace has been on the corner of Military and First Streets since the very first Thursday after the outbreak of the war in Iraq in March of 2003. As of the fifth anniversary, we have observed 262 Thursday vigils, without missing a one! Our longstanding faithful witness adds strength to the power of our message: Support Our troops - End the War!

Join us anytime between 4 PM and 6 PM at the corner of 1st Street and Military. Bring a sign, or use one of ours - we have lots of extras! Most importantly, bring a peaceful spirit and a friend or two. Together, we will remember those who have died, and we will call for PEACE.

Benicia Bastille Day, July 14, 2007
We brought our passion and our convictions to the Town Hall Meeting, and let U.S. Rep. George Miller know our thinking about Iraq. Sorry we didn't get more pics - we were pretty busy holding the signs up on a windy Benicia morning!
And here is Pat's written account of the day ....
